Delete your BeerLog account

You can delete your BeerLog account and all associated data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

Option 1: Delete from within the app

1. Open the BeerLog app and sign in.
2. Tap the Profile tab.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm your password to complete the deletion.

Your account and all associated data are removed immediately.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you can't access the app (for example, you've lost your device or can't sign in), email [email protected] from the email address registered on your account and ask for your account to be deleted. We'll process the request within 30 days and reply to confirm once it's done.

What gets deleted

• Your account (name, email, hashed password)
• All of your check-ins, ratings, and notes
• All photos you uploaded
• Your friend connections and pending friend requests
• Your reactions on other users' check-ins
• Your push notification preferences and device tokens

What's retained

Nothing personal is retained. Beers and breweries you contributed to the shared library (if any) remain so other users' check-ins continue to work, but they are not linked to you once your account is gone.
